PRAIRIE DOG PICKOFF

Description: The students are placed all over the playing area with a hoop and a pool noodle (prairie dog) standing upright in the middle of their hoop. Students must try to knock over the other prairie dogs and recruit them to their own team. Students can only pivot with the ball. If a prairie dog gets knocked off, the student must pick up and go join the person who knocked over their prairie dog and form teams. In offense, players must throw to a target accurately, and in defense, they must be able to defend their own space.
