Description: Each team stands in line with each student standing inside a hoop. The hoops on the floor should be touching, and this represents the caterpillar. The goal of the game is to collect as many objects as possible by moving the caterpillar forward. In order to do so, the student standing in the last hoop must step into the hoop in front of him or her, pick up the empty hoop, and pass it along the caterpillar so that it reaches the first player, who must then move into the newly set down hoop. Then all the players move into the hoop in front of them. In this way, the caterpillar moves across the playing area. Only the first player can pick up object, but it is up to the entire team to carry the collected objects throughout the game. The game ends when all the objects have been picked up from the ground.
